Bespoke, recycled Wooden labels
Timber Tags provides environmentally-friendly wooden labels to your exact requirements. Our products range from labels for gardeners to place names and favours for weddings.
Produced from recycled timber sourced from the waste of local woodworking firms, our high-specification wooden place names make the perfect keepsake, and our durable plant labels will delight any green gardener.
By using specialist machinery, our tags can be embossed with the text of your choice, making a unique and individual statement.
“Thank you so much for the tags, they really did look great on the tables and there weren't any left at the end so people must have taken them home with them!”
Since I'm very environmentally conscious, I donate a percentage of the profit from orders to the Kent Wildlife Trust, which performs various environment related projects in my area.
Also I have won an award in Kent environmental business awards, for the most inspirational business. As-well-as this I have won a Kent business award for entrepreneurial merit.

Personalisation
To personalise tags I use a process known as hot foiling. Hot foiling is a process similar to letterpress that is used to emboss an image or some text onto a material by using heat and pressure. A metal plate is heated to anywhere between 80-350˚C and then pressed into the material with the force of a few tonnes. In-between the metal plate and the material are the foil, which has one side with a colour and the other with a heat bonding adhesive, and the image or text that is needed in the form of a metal device.
This device can be made up of type, which are individual metal letters usually made of brass or mazac (a zinc alloy) or specialised magnesium dies.
More commonly found on high end promotional packaging and wedding stationary, I have specially adapted my machine for use on wood. If this all seems too confusing, just ask and I will happily explain to you how the machine works.
